Would you like support with your Tryouts?
If you need to assign your players into teams, but do so in a fair and impartial way, then look no further than UK International Soccer. Here is how it works (but obviously, we are happy to support you in whatever way you require):
Based on the age group and the number of players, our UK International Soccer Coaches will set up sessions that will enable your volunteer coaches to observe and grade players.
The sessions will be structured in such a way, so that EVERY player will have the ability to be graded fairly. Full inclusion for all players is a key ingredient to a successful tryout.
If you would like our Coaches to grade the players as well, they are more than happy to do so. However, it is vital that players are easily identifiable and an individual number for each player works really well.
Even though your volunteer coaches are the ones grading the players, having our UK International Soccer Coaches running the sessions means that (a) every child is treated equally as part of the sessions, which means that (b) Parents feel much more comfortable with the grades given.
If you have your own grading categories, then our UK International Soccer Coaches will plan sessions to ensure that all of those categories are met. However, if you would like us to share our grading system with you and your coaches, we are happy to do that.
We can brief your coaches on the sessions beforehand and explain the objectives and outcomes. We can also give information on things to look out for in terms of technical awareness and ability.
And of course, our UK International Soccer Coaches are more than happy to help with all of the setup and break down at the start and the end of the day.
