Development Academies

Our Development Academies are specifically designed to allow every player to focus on their personal skill development, all while they are being supported, challenged and encouraged by our highly qualified Soccer Coaches.

Professional Coaching

The Academies are run by UK International Soccer, and traditionally last for 10 weeks. All sessions are prepared and delivered by our professional UK International Soccer Coaches, who strive to ensure that all players show a significant development throughout the season.

Academy Format

While the specific days and times vary for each Academy, all players will train with their professional coach (in their designated age group) at least once or twice a week. The week is then often finished off with a Game Day of small sided scrimmages, which are also overseen by our UK International Soccer Coaches

 FAQs

  • During the week, the groups may change around, to give players exposure to new coaches, or they may remain the same. However, if you speak to the program Manager, we can usually (but not always) accomodate friends staying together.

  • Not all of our Academies play games on the weekend, as some are just skills-based. However, scrimmages that are played are all focused on player development, as opposed to just focusing on the score.

  • Unfortunately not, as this is in breach of the work visa. However, the exception is that if you choose to host the coach (i.e they are staying in your house), then they are able to deliver private sessions to your children…and as a thank you for hosting, these private sessions are absolutely free.

  • Ideally, all sessions and scrimmages will be held at the same field. However, if there are any changes, you will always be notified at the earliest possible opportunity.
